TEENDOCS: The world, seen through the eyes of teen filmmakers
TEENDOCS is a national youth documentary film competition. Grab a camera and tell a real-life story about the world you live in. You can say anything you want -- say something true, say something moving.
The TEENDOCS rules are simple:
- TEENDOCS is open to all 13-19 year-olds living in the U.S.
- The films must be 10 minutes or less
- You must upload your film to YouTube, and then send youtube link to screennation @ afi.com
- You may enter as many films as you wish.
- Films are due April 1, 2010
The top 3 films will be selected by AFI and will be part of the world-class AFI SilverDocs: AFI-Discovery Documentary Film Festival, held each June at the AFI Silver Theatre, Silver Spring, Maryland.
TEENDOCS is a program of YMCA Y-Arts & AFI ScreenNation
