This doesn't really seem that bad on us, I know that our family uses a lot of bags, but we reuse them a lot, and .20$ isen't that bad. They proposed giving out one free bag to each family, so that should help out also. I would just say stock up on bag's from now on so when this hit's, you don't have to be worried.

i think that is the stupidest thing i have ever heard of. why would i want to pay a 20 cent green fee on every single plastic bag that i use?? how about instead of charging us, why dosnt the government make these companies use Biodegradable bags or somthing??

Man, I just don't know about this one. It seems to me like this will hit those with low income more than anything tlse. It has good intentions but I think we should go about doing this in a different way. Perhaps adding an incentive, like a 1 cent (on the dollar) sales tax reduction if you use re-useable bags.
That way no one is getting hurt by this, except for the city (minus money) but I think in the long run it will work out for everyone's benefit.
What do you think about that?
