I can't believe what Kanye pulled at the VMA's!!!! Taylor Swift won her award by fans voting. Obviously, if she won, she deserved it. It was so wrong of him to jump up on stage DURING her acceptance speech! It must have been so humiliating and terrible for her, and during such a great moment for her career.

Obama recently gave a speech addressing students across America. Because of this, many parents, teachers, and politicians are panicking, claiming that Obama is trying to "indoctrinate" the children, trying to provoke them like a Hitler Youth. I think this is SO incredibly ridiculous. If you listen (or read) Obama's speech, you'll see that he brings NO politics into it.

So for most people, school has either started already or will be starting soon. What I love about the new school year is that it gives me a clean slate- any bad grades or classes that I hated are washed away for the new year. This year, I'm going to college and I am soooo excited.

I watched the movie Milk last night with Sean Penn starring as Harvey Milk. It was actually a really great movie and to my surprise, historically accurate. It told the story of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay person to be elected to a major office in the United States. James Franco and Emile Hirche also starred in this movie.
