Hey, thanks! Yeah, I had a great time, and it was great meeting everyone. Haha, I was a little nervous at first, I'm sure I was the youngest there... I feel right at home now, tho. :)

i totally understand how you feel. at most of the events i go to (unless its something i'm in charge of) i'm the youngest. It can be nerve racking, but you get used to it.

if ya act mature and have something to say, people will listen and respect you even more for coming out when you are the youngest one out!

haha, you know when i started typing that I thought maybe it was you, but I sat in the very back of the forum- so pretty hard to tell =] yeah, i'm the managing editor of my school's paper. I was supposed to be editor-in-chief this year but we got a new advisor and he wanted a male editor-in-chief.

I went to an annual journalism conference at the UW on September 19 called JDay. A student spoke about it, I thought I could use it as a resource for my journalism (hopeful) major. And now I use it for much more :)

no problem! thanks for participating in my blog =] i care about a wide variety of things, sometimes i get a little too involved in things, haha. generally, rights that i feel everyone as a human being should have really sparks my interest. That goes from abortions to gay rights to student press rights. I'm also really into politics and things of that nature. I guess you could say anything controversial? haha. what about you?
